dc.description.abstractThis study aims to stand on the verbal common in the texts of the Holy Qur’an, and to show the most important functions that one word includes several meanings that characterize it. This phenomenon with an indication of the preponderance of saying, the researchers used the inductive and analytical approach based on counting the places where the Holy Qur’an used “verbal homonyms” and collecting the opinions of scholars who spoke about this phenomenon, while stating the most correct of their statements and opinions. and the study concluded with some results, including: that the verbal common phenomenon is present in the Arabic language and in the Holy Qur’an, and that those who deny it are skeptical about a tangible reality, so they are not considered, and the study concluded that the verbal common phenomenon belongs to a broad topic It is large and comprehensive in the Arab Islamic heritage, in what is called the issue of pronunciation and meaning, and that the semantic research in its relationship to words depends on it in understanding the texts of the Holy Qur’an.
