“Waw Ethamaniya” and its semantic miracle in the Qur’anic text: A semantic textual study

| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to stand on the semantic miracle of the letter “waw -Thamaniyah” in the Qur’anic text, and show the most important functions of the letter with its outstanding characteristics. This phenomenon is embedded with perfect statements. The study also aims to reveal some results which includes that, the appending “waw Thamaniyah” in Arabic language has a strong scope which indicates the expiration of the number. The letter “waw -Thamaniyah” appeared in five verses of the Glorious Qur’an. The study concluded that the phenomenon of the “waw -Thamaniyah” has to do with required thought, and it is a well-known term among scholars, knowing that the first person to affirm “Waw -Thamaniyah” was Ibn Khalawayh (370 AH). | |
