Abstract

This research deals with the aesthetic values in the poem of Imam al-Busayri. It follows the descriptive and analytical approach to clarify the psychological dimensions of the poem in terms of the feeling of love, agony, joy and happiness and other aesthetic values found in it. The study concludes that the appreciation to poetic verses differ among individuals. The poem explains the conscience that bind between the poet and the readers until both would feel one another. The poetic verses that are imbued with aesthetic values are also meant to train students to benefit from the artistic asymmetry between the feeling and thought of the aesthetic imageries. Application is the fruit of every science. There is no value for a science unless when its rules are applied; and the understanding of aesthetic values in Arab poems makes us realize without a doubt the flexibility of the Arabic language.
