Public institutions need digital transformation to improve accountability and make services more efficient for citizens. This change includes using software to simplify administrative tasks and optimise data management and boost communication among stakeholders. The effect of digitalization on the operational efficiency of Federal Road Safety Corps in Osun State is investigated in this study. Specifically, it examines how e-ticketing influences revenue generation and how e-registration influences public needs. Qualitative research with reference to secondary data such as books, scholarly journals, newspapers and published articles were used. Data was analysed using analytical methods to establish relevance to research objectives. Findings indicate that, prior to the introduction of digital technologies, road enforcement operations constituted a largely inefficient and unproductive in-service delivery. The study concludes that, although digitalization has enhanced public sector performance, there is a huge task of addressing the digital divide. This is possible through inclusive policy measures that support the rollout and growth of both wired and wireless public network facilities throughout the nation.
