The Phenomenon of Selected Arabic Ode in Ar-Riyadh Collection of Isa Alabi Abubakr: An Empirical Study

Abstract

The musical phenomenon in the Arabic poetry is one of the most important aspirations of the consumers of Arabic literature, and coveted by its lovers since ancient times before judging the quality and perfection of poetic text. This paper aims to direct the role of poetic music in the poetic productions of one of the flags of Arabic literature, with his brilliance and richness in the Arab Nigerian poetry, in a book collection called Ar-Riyadh (Diwan). This will be demonstrated by our study of these phenomena in terms of the definition of what music is all about, accurate information about the Arabic poetry in Nigeria, then, we highlight the internal and external musical techniques that express meters and rhymes in terms of quantity and quality, especially the rhetorical phenomena of Arab and other framework for accomplishing this research work.
